On June 2, 2023, our PhD student Katarina Didulica successfully defended the topic of her doctoral thesis entitled “Early Age Behaviour of High Performance Fibre- Reinforced Mortar”, which she is writing as part of the ReWire project under the supervision of Associate Professor Ana Baričević.
The main objective of the thesis is to understand and define the influence of RTPF on the microstructural changes of mortar and to quantify its influence as a function of water/binder ratio and internal relative humidity.
In this way, the relationship between autogenous shrinkage and pore development will be established and the influence on the transition zone between RTPF and matrix will be observed.
